I've found that to be the case as well, in the time that I've been online. When do you last remember being on the app itself? In terms of the month.
Around April or May of last year? I couldn't shake this feeling that I was being watched around that time.

On a regular basis, yes - I was brought on at around that time, in May. So I have an acceptable idea of what's been happening since you've been gone.
I'd like to be filled in.

Plenty of monsters. No aliens to my knowledge, however.
At some point in August of last year, several of us were taken outside the city, into a different plane of reality entirely. It didn't seem terribly dire on our side, outside of the occasional threat to our personal safety, but according to those in the city there was a possibility that we could have all died out there.
Apparently those memories we've all been receiving are genuine memories from a past life of ours. Our souls have been brought here as part of a project to restore our worlds to existence, after something to do with that other plane of reality destroyed them. As long as one person from a destroyed world exists as part of the project, their world of origin may be restored at a later time.
Jim Halloway is thankfully no longer allowed to speak to us. We have a new contact from Retrospec known as Zee Carlisle who's keeping us up to date on things; we can also send him messages or see him in person as we see fit.

On a more serious note, I wonder if it's even possible to do something as grandiose as restore an entire world. Think about how many resources it would take.

Not that I know of, thankfully enough. There are other regions outside of it now as well that we can go to, should we want to, but they aren't the same places we went last August.
